Arun is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater and will graduate in December 2026.

His studies include financial accounting, auditing, financial reporting, business operations, accounting information systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and business analytics. He has also developed an interest in database management, SQL, financial analysis, and operational efficiency.

Arun believes education and entrepreneurship go hand in hand. Rather than treating school and business as separate pursuits, he looks for ways to apply what he learns in class to real-world challenges.

His understanding of financial management, business operations, and strategy has become an important foundation for the businesses he builds. Entrepreneurship has become one of the most significant parts of Arun's professional journey. Driven by an interest in spotting everyday challenges and building practical solutions, he has established a growing portfolio of online businesses across several industries.

His ventures include Leftover Planner, FootingBooks, Paid Up, Second Look, Fair Quote, Present Tense, Hometown Web Co., and Selluxe Club. They span personal finance, bookkeeping, consumer services, small-business solutions, and online entertainment, and together they draw thousands of visitors every day.

Arun's philosophy is straightforward: understand the needs of the people being served, find opportunities to improve, and build solutions that are affordable, convenient, and easy to use. That thinking shapes every part of his work, from the first business concept to product design, pricing, customer experience, and long-term planning.

He also puts real weight on the operational and financial foundations of each venture. Arun's interest in finance goes beyond his studies and his own ventures.

As an Assurance Intern at Wegner CPAs, he gained experience in a professional accounting environment, including financial documentation, audit-related procedures, and established accounting practices. The experience strengthened his understanding of financial reporting, accuracy, professional responsibility, and accountability in business.

For Arun, accounting is more than recording and reporting numbers. It's an essential tool for understanding how organizations operate, measure performance, allocate resources, and make informed decisions. He applies that perspective to his own businesses, where financial planning and operational efficiency are central, and it has shaped his interest in building financial tools and platforms.

Alongside his entrepreneurial work, Arun has built professional experience in leadership, education, and community development.

As Milwaukee Regional Director for the Youth Enrichment League, he has worked to expand educational enrichment opportunities throughout the Milwaukee region: developing partnerships with schools and community organizations, coordinating educational programs, supporting instructors, and overseeing regional operations. The work helps young people explore new interests, build skills, and take part in meaningful learning experiences.

As a Program Coordinator at Madison College, he has supported student success through academic coordination, communication, educational activities, and student engagement, working alongside students, advisors, and other professionals to connect people with the resources and guidance they need.

These roles have strengthened his leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills. They have also reinforced his belief that access to education, mentorship, and opportunity can have a lasting impact. For Arun, professional achievement and community involvement are closely connected, and success should be measured not only by business growth but by the positive impact a person has on others.
