About
Entrepreneur and founder based in Madison, Wisconsin.

Arun's mission is to build innovative, accessible, and sustainable businesses that solve real problems, create opportunities, and give back to the communities they serve.
Arun was born in India and adopted at a young age, when he came to America. He has since built his education and career in Wisconsin, where he continues to pursue opportunities in entrepreneurship, finance, technology, and community development.
Today, he is an entrepreneur and business professional with a growing portfolio of websites and online tools, along with experience in accounting, financial management, education, business development, and management. Everything he builds comes back to one goal: practical solutions that make a real difference for individuals, families, and businesses.
Education
Arun is completing a bachelor's degree in Accounting at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater and will graduate in December 2026. His coursework covers financial accounting, auditing, financial reporting, business operations, accounting information systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and business analytics.
He is also interested in database systems, SQL, financial analysis, and operations management. He doesn't treat school and business as separate worlds. He believes understanding how an organization's finances and operations work is the foundation of any lasting business, so he looks for ways to apply what he learns in class directly to his own ventures.
Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship has become a defining part of Arun's career. He has built businesses in personal finance, bookkeeping, small-business services, consumer tools, and online entertainment. They include Leftover Planner, FootingBooks, Paid Up, Second Look, Fair Quote, Present Tense, Hometown Web Co., and Selluxe Club. Together, they draw thousands of visitors every day.
His approach is simple: start by understanding the people a business is meant to serve, identify a common problem, and turn it into a service that's practical, affordable, and easy to use. That thinking shapes how he approaches product design, pricing, customer experience, and long-term growth.
Each business is set up to run as a real company, not a side project: its own brand and domain, its own terms of service and privacy policy, and a defined way to earn revenue, whether through advertising, partner offers, subscriptions, or service fees. His accounting background shapes how he plans each one, starting with costs, pricing, and how it will sustain itself.
Building these businesses himself has taught him what it really takes to run one: planning, website development, service design, marketing, finding customers, making financial decisions, and constantly improving the product. His goal is to build businesses that grow beyond their first idea and become trusted resources in their markets.
Accounting & finance
As an assurance intern at Wegner CPAs, Arun worked with professional accounting practices, financial documentation, and audit-related work, and saw firsthand how much accuracy and accountability matter in financial reporting.
To Arun, accounting is more than a technical profession. It's a framework for understanding how a business operates, measures its performance, manages its resources, and decides where to grow. That perspective shapes how he runs his own businesses and why he's drawn to building financial technology.
Management & community
As Milwaukee Regional Director for the Youth Enrichment League, Arun has overseen youth enrichment programs across the Milwaukee region, working with staff, schools, and families to give young people more opportunities to learn and grow.
As a Program Coordinator at Madison College, he has supported student success, coordinated communications and educational activities, worked alongside advisors and other professionals, and helped students find the resources and guidance they needed.
These roles have taught him to manage projects, build relationships, stay organized, and balance many responsibilities at once. They have also shaped what he believes: access to education, guidance, and practical resources can change the direction of someone's life. For Arun, community impact isn't separate from professional success. Both are part of building a meaningful career.
Technology
Technology is one of Arun's strongest interests. He has worked on website development, online platforms, software, financial technology, artificial intelligence, and automation, thinking through everything from features and design to pricing and real-world use.
He is especially interested in places where technology can replace slow, frustrating processes or make complicated services available to more people. Next, he wants to build subscription software, AI tools for businesses, and more interactive financial resources.
Markets & investing
Outside of accounting and business, Arun has a strong personal interest in financial markets. He studies stocks, ETFs, options, technical analysis, market trends, and how to manage risk. He cares about financial literacy and believes in disciplined decisions, continued learning, and taking risk seriously.

Looking ahead
Arun's long-term goal goes beyond running one website or one business. He wants to build a diversified group of businesses across different industries, all focused on innovation, accessibility, and practical value. That means expanding his current ventures, creating more financial technology, exploring business uses of AI, and building resources that help people and small businesses run more effectively.
He sees entrepreneurship as an ongoing journey that takes both creativity and discipline. Success isn't defined by a single accomplishment. It's defined by the value you create, the challenges you overcome, and the positive influence you leave behind.
Outside of work
Arun enjoys exploring new technology, following the markets, studying new business models, and learning how innovation shows up in everyday life. He also loves problem-solving, data analysis, and design, especially building interactive tools that make information easier to understand.
